A Logical Answer To Remixing-Re-Encoding From Rick
Hi Friends and Critics,
My collections come from many friends, some are on thumb drives, cdr, etc.., If I get a "rough" recording, I try my very
best to provide a quality recording, sometimes I simply can't do anything with it, so it's scratched... I have had many
recordings that were in pretty rough shape, but salvagable. I work my butt off restoring to at least listenable with
pleasurable riding alongside.
Understand this, I get a rough recording, I edit through sometimes many programs. Whatever the bit-rate shows as, I don't
care, I know it sounds better than I received it, different software shows different bit rates.
To the folks that post "It's 120 not 320" please understand the above, cleaning up these music files requires lots of work,
and have been ran thru many programs.Don't criticize, enjoy the music, simply do not download my posts. (For many non-
posters, leechers,etc)
I am just less than a year younger than Uncle Gil, I have plans to retire from posting in the near future. I wanted to
clear up any misconceptions. Regards, Rick
A Recording, Raw Format, plus same recording, if you were throwing a party, which recording would you play for your friends
the raw or remastered regardless of bit rate? You friends are going to ask you for bit rate??? Get My Point??? Rick

Rick I don't believe anything unless I can taste it, feel it, smell it, see it or hear it. That is the final judgement, Not some computer telling me 96 or 128 or 320 or flac, just my ears. Thanks for your sharing, I either like it and keep it or I throw it away and keep looking.
