This collection of The Wilburn Brothers actually came off an old lost hard drive. My Grandson found it in a an ole shoebox, I had forgot about it! So Many were downloaded from now defunct sites, some remain but seems like they have been abandoned. As I listened, some recordings were in very poor quality, so this is my project, I'm going to post every Wilburn Bros album I Have. so check comments section on a regular basis, on posts by Uncle Gill, who I have the highest respect, consider a great friend. I think you'll find Harlan made more than 8 volumes, last one i know off is 1966 Warped 6665

yes you're right. I only looked in my warped flac-folder. The 1966 I only have as mp3 320 KB
just found it as flac too. lol

Glad you got it ok, I don't recall Harlan ever going above 320, he did do 128 at the start.
There is a German website you can find many warped but you need a good add blocker to get in, Canna Power
I think I have all Warped I'm interested. I'm in DC. but thanks for the info.
Info @ puterbutt In former Harlan's blog he only posted 320 kb versions. But he created all his warped as flac-files and shared these later in a blog in direct connect. I sent Harlan (John Morris) at those times some CDs by airmail

Yes he did post 320 in visit me but never flac, He had a group of us from Europe rip and clean lp's mostly from Holland, France and UK, France did the flac work, the american rips was mainly noisy. Later Harlan joined a hub and shared most of his better recordings there, maybe they was the flac your meaning, I never got to go there, I think visit me got the early rips and the better ones went private, Harlan was also into Bluegrass in a big way and my friend in Holland did all his ripping on the better recordings. I can't really go into detail the same way as I wouldn't like anyone mentioning me. Our days are gone, I wouldn't post anything of Harlans publicly without his consent but would do on one to one.
Would you rip a noisly LP into flac without some initial cleaning and preperation? all his early stuff was really noisy, I still have a lot I never got to clean up or too bad to even attempt to do.

Your trying to catch me out lol, yes indeed but you got 2 tracks missing on the 3917 1935-1945, 02 and 12.
other is 3800 1936-1938
the first issues on warped was 2009, they became better around 2013 and some got re-issued
