Elvis Presley 47 Years Ago Today....
I had got tickets for Elvis in concert in Indianapolis' Market Square Arena, I received two tickets for 25 dollars, 3 rows back, center stage. I surprised my Wife, "Gonna go to Indianapolis, pack a couple days clothing". I was told 18,000 people attended, cannot disagree. J.D. Sumner & The Stamps opened the show, then The Sweet Inspirations...intro..Larie Londin on drums (Not Ronnie Tutt), The show was unique, different tempo, Elvis throwing out his classics which was unusual. Elvis was having a good time! People often ask me, :How did he look"? He was obviously overweight, but the weight was in his belly and back. There is alot of dialogue on the recording missing. Elvis was funny, upbeat, and one of the best concerts we seen in years! We NEVER thought it would be his last concert, ever. Fans were throwing Teddy Bears, Roses, everything that meant something. Deleted on this recording, Elvis announced every Teddy Bear would be donated to St. Jude's. The high notes on "Hurt" caused me from being able to hear anything for 3 days (Same for my Wife)..Operatic!!! The final expo was played Elvis exited the stage...The beginnibg of rhe show seemed slow starting...but what a show! The following post my cousin sent me, is the last show Elvis Presley would ever perform. It has cuts, and an audience recording, but...it's Elvis Presley's Final Show. This was 47 Years Ago Today. You can go to sleep and switch off and when you switch on again it will resume, your paying mega for storage space and your own cloud but you get 50gig free anyway but only 5gig bandwidth. It's the same as downloading from a blog but more discreet.
