There is more to Merrill Moore (no E.) than you can see at first glance. This is a companion album to the one listed below; together they contain all 14 singles, A & B sides, 28 songs that he released on Capitol records in chronological order from 1953-1957. Together and in order this is a very impressive collection; yes, quite a collection. Thank you for your efforts also.
My three favorite songs are: "Corina, Corina" (Capitol F2226) (1953) which was a hit later by Joe Turner (2(2)-May 1956 on The R&B chart); "House Of Blue Lights" (Capitol F-2574) (1953) which was a hit by Ella Mae Morse (8-May 1946) and Chuck Miller (11-August 1955); and "Cow Cow Boogie" (Capitol F3034) (1955) which was a hit also by Ella Mae Morse (9-January 1942), all on the pop charts :-).
