Hi you all. Great CD set. But not from Norton Records.
Actually it's "Get With It:Essential Recordings 1954-69" Revenant Records (John Fahey) Nashville (TN), USA.
Rockin' Regards
Bernie
Hi Bernie! Thanks for the focus. Another senior moment from me. I lingered on the Norton Records insert.
Never too old to rock'n'roll, but - maybe - too old to run a blog...
Fantastic one of my all time favourite rockabilly artists non better Carl Perkins is the only I would say comes close I have it on CD but great to see again and get reminded of the great one Rocking Eddie
Thanks for this UG.
TKS UNCLE
Thank you very much
Hi there, dear Gil! One of my favorite Charlie Feathers sets. And quite revealing, particularly thanks to the Junior Kimbrough's tracks. Thanks a lot for making this available again.
Dear Gil! Please help our community to dispel some devious misinformation about the so called "Chuck Berry A L'Olympia". Contrary to what reported in various blogs by self appointed experts, the Barclay LP is NOT recorded there, bus is the On Stage Chess LP with silly audience only overdubs from Paris. So beware of this one! There might be a bootleg from the actual concert but I never heard myself. Can you please elucidate us? Thanks and best regards
Thank you very much !
Thank you.
@varenna45: Right, the Barclay album is the same as the Chess but with the voice of Eddy Mitchell as the presentator. For my part, I don't know a live bootleg of this 1963 show. The "Musicorama" was not saved to my knowledge. There is a bootleg album of the 1966 concert by Dr. Kollector.
