Anonyme : Laisse tomber. Tu es un vrai trou du cul. C'est le contraire, c'est le Tonton qui s'est fait (et se fait toujours) le plus piquer son matos depuis quinze ans.
Raymond
The same lousy MP3 that’s been on archive.org for about 15 years.

Some things found in old dust bins should be left.
@ Raymond
Merci de ne pas envenimer les choses avec des mots aussi crus... (quoique mérités).
Je ne sais quel but poursuit ce type... Jalousie ? Jeu stupide ? Vengeance ? (si il s'identifiait, je saurais peut-être pourquoi).
Uncle Gil, who is Raymond?
Is Raymond in the room with us now?
@ Sebastian: kindly improve your English skills. What do you mean with "his treasures"? That would assume he has recorded this show on his own. Well, he did not, he has STOLEN it from another site. As for my point of view, why do you need to share something that`s already available elsewhere (unless you can offer a better version of it). UG is not even willing to rip his albums in a lossless format. Who in 2022 is listening to 196 kbps anymore? Surely not me, and many million other music fans too ...
Hello again. I am the third “Anonyme” in this thread who posted the comment on “20 juin 2022 à 09:15.” That is the only other comment by me in this thread. The other “Anonyme” are not me.
But, I totally agree with the previous “Anonyme” who notes that these recordings do not belong to Uncle Gil. They are all stolen directly from elsewhere by Uncle Gil without even the basic courtesy of recognition for the sources of the recordings or the collections which were plundered. Instead he makes cheap-looking cover art with the same template to make it look like his, and he pretends that he obtained long ago from some obscure source. These are not even quality files; they are just lousy MP3 versions.
As for the vinyl he claims that he rips, it’s probably the same; cheap MP3s obtained elsewhere and then presented as his own vinyl rips. Because nobody rips vinyl to MP3. There’s no reason anyone would take analog media of this kind and gut the quality of it that way.
So to all those who wonder why various Anonyme have problems with Uncle Gil, please understand it’s because he is a faker and you are his rube.
Gentlemen Anonymous, I am an ophthalmologist and I can grant you interesting prices to provide you with glasses that will allow you to discover that each time UG shares an album that he has taken from the internet in order to share it with you he mentions that it is not its own and does not erase internal tags when they exist.
I also have psychiatrist friends who would be happy to try to treat you.
John Shell
John Shell, can you recommend an audiologist who can help Uncle Gil with his hearing problem?
My eminent audiophonist colleagues organized a seminar two days ago around the files put online by this Uncle Gil. They mostly studied those that came from his digitization of vinyl records and came to the conclusion that everything is fine for any human being who isn't obsessed with inaudible numbers or measurements.
They also recommend referring you, the three anonyms, to a psychiatric unit.

The internet would be a better place without blogs like this. Give up Uncle, retire.
John Shell, you and Uncle Gil make up such good stories.
The internet would be a better place without assholes like you, anonymous!
