What? Not a single comment deploring the disappearance of Ronnie Hawkins!
But we are complaining about an error downloading a volume 2 instead of a volume 1!
We have the impression that this blog no longer has any interest except for licensed leechers who take over your work every day.
Sorry for you, Uncle!
Your nephew Billy Dan.

Rest In Peace, Ronnie Hawkins. Hope you're jamming in Rock And Roll Heaven.
RIP Ronnie, an absolute legend.
The Hawk went to Canada on the advise of Conway Twitty & had a successful career there, discovering many great musicians, who went on to greater fame. Excellent records on Roulette 1959-63.
Love this blog, but rarely comment. Thanks!
Man, I saw the two Hawkins on the blog, refreshed the page and they were gone. And so is Ronnie. R.I.P. Ronnie Hawkins.
@ Brian Page.
The two albums of Hawkins never gone. These are the two Jerry Lee Lewis at Dolphin who will reappear in a day or two.
I heard the sad news only today. RIP, Ronnie. Thanks for the music.
It's definitely saddening to hear that Ronnie Hawkins is gone. But I do appreciate your blog, so thank you for that.

Thanks for all your shares. It was people like anonymous that caused be to shut down my blog years ago. Sorry you have to put up with idiots. But thanks again for the great music.
I can't imagine complaining about this glorious blog. I'm still giddy that the blog came back. Stuff happens, complain? No way! There's all kinds though. Ronnie Hawkins rules, but I am a member of the Ronnie army. Har.
Thanks for the Ronnie Hawkins. Just watched Robbie Robertson's 'Once We Were Brothers' about the Band. Fantastic stuff from the days when they were the Hawks behind Ronnie, and clips from him thesedays. Even if you don't like the Band (or Bob Dylan - YUK) give it a watch for Ronnie and the Hawks. RIP.
Best wishes from rainy England.
The Hot Bopper.
God Save The Queen.
