Thanks Uncle Gil, Great Lp, Awesome!
Thank you.
Thank you very much
Thanks Unclegil !!
Jerry Lee is obviously inspired, and his vocals are passionate! Check out the fire in "Move On Down The Line", or the Ray Charles classic "What'd I Say" for proof. And while there's the obligatory Rock and Roll Medley to close out the album, mostly Little Richard tunes played very hot, Lewis doesn't stick to a lot of cliche standards save for "Johnny B. Goode" which he nails. It's songs though like Charlie Rich's "No Headstone On My Grave", "Drinking Wine Spo-Dee O Dee", "Sixty Minute Man" and the
excellent ballad "Trouble In Mind" that give this album it's charm. These guys are having fun, and it really comes through on the album. The _Complete Session_ is even better, mainly because there's more to enjoy. But this is pretty damn great !
A Masterpiece !!
