Great album, Uncle Gil. This guy was still living in the 30s, and good ole Sam was there to immortalize it. Great stuff - and you just gotta love those old style labels.

Great blues LP. I already have a copy but for anyone who doesn't - take a copy now. Frank sang different types of popular music from his time but he excelled at blues and sounded so authentic that in the 1960s/70s some of his tracks appeared on blues purist reissue LPs that only ever touched black bluesmen. Then when photos of Frank started popping up and to everyone's surprise Frank turned out being a white man there were a few people with egg on their faces.
