Gene Vincent’s last recording session
BBC Maldavale Studio 4, London - October 1, 1971 (for the Johnny Walker Show on BBC Radio One)

Gene Vincent (vocals) with Richard Cole (lead guitar) and British band Kansas Hook :
Dave Bailey (keyboards), Bob Moore (drums), and the great Charlie Harrison (bass)
Five tracks were recorded at the BBC Studios on October 1, 1971, with no audience, for future broadcast on BBC Radio One. Three tracks only on this vinyl, with one other appearing on other releases (Distant Drums) and one remaining unreleased (Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On). This session took place 11 days before Gene's death.
