High Fashion Queen

Chris Hillman (guitar, mandolin, lead vocals)
Rick Roberts (rhythm guitar, vocals)
Jock Barkley (lead guitar)
Mark Andes (bass)
Michael Clarke (drums)

This band was assembled by Chris Hillman just after the Souther-Furay-Hillman Band disbanded and just before the release of SHF’s second LP (Trouble In Paradise). Chris became ill during the tour and couldn’t finish the planned concerts. The rest of the band entered the studio to record an album on their own after adding Larry Burnett to the lineup. They christened themselves “Firefall”, and the rest is history.

Thank you for this one. in 1971 I was living in Boulder, Colorado and a few members of the band Zephyr were my neighbors. Jock Barkley was a 19 year old guitar player for Zephyr and he was very good. He once told me that tastefulness wasn't what you played it was what you didn't play. I never forgot that.
