This is great - thanks a lot. I even get a chance to improve my French reading these. By the way, what about other magazines of this era - like New Kommotion, Not Fade Away etc. - has anybody got those for upload?

Merci mille fois Uncle Gil pour cette compilation Big Beat. Beaucoup de bons souvenirs : c'est grâce à ce label que - encore adolescent - j'entendis pour la première fois parler de Sonny Fisher, Gene Summers, Warren Smith et beaucoup d'autres. Je me souviens aussi avec gratitude des nombreux papiers d'Eudeline sur Big Beat dans Best à l'époque.
Curieusement, j'évoquais Victor Leed avec un ami il y a quelques heures, avant de tomber sur ton post.
Je crois qu'il n'est plus de ce monde, le pauvre, il y a parfois de doux fantômes qui viennent nous visiter...
