Johnny is the best. I love his 1950s Sun and Columbia output, it was the best in his career.

Better late than never I want to say a Big Thank You for this amazing rippings from original LPs.
Found your great blog fust a few days ago and I appreciate it so much to find the admirable Johnny Cash here.
I've one humble Question:
I love too the music of Roy Clark and there is one album - "I Never Picked Cotton" - I cannot find to buy or get elsewhere.
Do you know, if it's accessible somewhere ?
Thanks by anticipant
Sorry, if this comment comes twice, I'm not sure it does it's way to your blog.

Sorry, there was a sappy typing error in my comment above:
"fust a few days ago" should mean correctly "just ...."
Thank you again

To Le Bavarois : I lost the Clark's album. I don't seen it on the web or elsewhere. It's the one with the Rolls Royce on the cover ?
I'll looking around...

Hello again Uncle Gil
Yes, the Rolls Royce & Roy Clark with a girl on the cover!
What a bad luck, losing such a nice album.
Some years ago it was to hear on http://lpdiscography.com, but in very low quality (96 kbps, CBR) and Track 4 missing.
I've only the title track in better quality and found a nice front cover jpeg.
Track 1-3, 5-11 & the cover is now on megaupload: http://lix.in/-7f1294
- but, as i mentioned, in very LQ.
i wish you all the best
