Live Recordings (1960)

This LP was originally released in 1965 as an audio companion to Paul Oliver’s book (same title). It was built as two uninterrupted sides of music (sung and played) and spoken parts between songs. I have split into separate tracks.

good grief - this .... I finally get to know who spoke what ( it aint too clear in the book )..howeeeeeee- Ive had this book nearly 40 0dd years ( never found the album tho)- did get both volumes of story of the blues and the book tho . the pictures in this book are real 'old' -the feel of them - its kinda sleepy days down there -always hotndusty - dry road coca cola blues days- hey - it still feeds me every now and then . bless
